Jasmine Crockett Threw Tantrum Over Profile, Believed She Deserved Top Post Based on Social Media Clout

Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) sought to cancel a profile article in The Atlantic after a journalist contacted several of her fellow Democrats, inadvertently highlighting her inflated self-regard.

Journalist Elaine Godfrey described how Crockett, upon discovering that other legislators were approached for input on the contentious congresswoman, attempted to stop the article from being published.

“Regarding her peers, four days prior to this article’s release, Crockett phoned me to voice her annoyance that I had contacted numerous House members without informing her beforehand,” Godfrey noted.

The Texas Democrat threatened the reporter, insisting she was “shutting down the profile and revoking all permissions.”

That’s not how that works. That’s not how any of this works.
