BEECH ISLAND, S.C. () – Five people have been arrested and charged in connection to the death of 10-year-old Lavinia Lowe.

Brandon Pollard, Tramain Wilson, Timothy Harris, Jr., Quincy Dunbar, and Ri’Dauris Blocker are all behind bars.

Pollard and Harris are charged with 1st Degree Murder

Dunbar is charged with Accessory to Murder before the Fact.

The five were arrested in the shooting on Dorsett-Kenzie Road in Beech Island on June 25th.

Lavinia Lowe was shot in the head.

The sheriff indicated that this was in response to the killing of 18-year-old Tranard Shepherd, who was fatally shot on June 22nd on Sarah Street in Warrenville.

According to investigators, the target of the shooting on Dorsett Kenzie Road had not lived at that address in more than a year.

One suspects remains at large.
