A teenage boy is under police guard in hospital after an alleged stolen BMW sped through traffic before crashing into a medical centre in Sydney’s west.
The 16-year-old allegedly drove the stolen BMW through the front of a medical centre in St Mary’s at midnight following a police pursuit.
The car was allegedly stolen from a home in Cambridge Park, with officers spotting the car at 11.30pm in nearby Cranbrook.
There was a police chase but officers called it off for safety concerns.
Just after midnight, the BMW crashed into another vehicle with a female driver inside on the Great Western Highway, sending it into the shop front.
The woman in the other car was taken to hospital as a precaution and has since been released.
The 16-year-old boy suffered minor injuries. He is now in hospital under police guard and police.
He is expected to be charged later today.
