Justice at Last: Rachel Morin's Illegal Alien Killer Finds Out His Harsh Destiny

Their lives were cruelly taken by those who should never have had entry into our nation. But they were more than just names—they were individuals. Real people, vibrant Americans, who tragically had their lives ended, leaving behind grieving families and disrupted existences.

On Monday, a measure of justice was finally served for one of the culprits: Victor Martinez-Hernandez of El Salvador, the heinous attacker of Rachel Morin. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for the brutal acts of murder, rape, and kidnapping committed against the 37-year-old mother in August 2023.

We hear far too much in the mainstream media about sob stories of gang members and criminal illegals and not enough about their victims.

God bless Rachel, @PattyMorin, and the Morin family.

We’ve sadly grown used to news about lenient judges who allow violent offenders back into society instead of ensuring they remain behind bars. In this case, however, the judge made the right decision:

He received the harshest penalty possible—life in prison without parole, an additional life sentence, and another 40 years behind bars.

Harford County State Attorney Alison Healey emphasized that Martinez-Hernandez is ‘beyond any possibility of reform or rehabilitation’ as she advocated for the most severe punishment on Monday.

‘If he is released our community is in grave danger … It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when,’ she told the court.

Sometimes, there is no hope for rehabilitation: evil is simply evil and must be dealt with accordingly:

The judge agreed, telling Martinez-Hernandez: ‘You are not a candidate for rehabilitation. There is simply no hope to rehabilitate you.

‘You took a life that was not yours to take. Your acts not only brutalized a young woman but also terrorized a community. The Ma & Pa Trail is a place of beauty … your acts turned that into a place of terror.’

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement—ICE—is routinely bashed in the mainstream press as some sort of authoritarian force. But unlike so many Democrats and mainstream “journalists,” they actually show compassion for the victims of entirely preventable violent crimes:

Rachel Morin was stolen from her family by a reprehensible criminal alien who never should have been in this country in the first place.

Our hearts are with the Morin family and all families of those who have lost a loved one to illegal alien crime. Because of them, we will never lose sight of our responsibility to protect and serve the American public.
