AUGUSTA, Ga. () – On Monday, Aug. 18, Democratic State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Jason Esteves visited the Henry Brigham Community Center in Augusta.

The meet-and-greet was hosted by State Senator Harold Jones II.

This visit is a part of Senator Esteves’ statewide campaign tour aimed at gathering support and securing essential endorsements. At the gathering, he shared his vision of what he believes Georgians desire in their next governor.

“Georgians are eager for a new wave of leadership,” Esteves stated. “They want a governor who can navigate through the chaos, who puts the needs of the people first, and who is committed to reducing living expenses throughout the state. Additionally, they want someone who will invest in families and provide our children with more opportunities than we had. Georgians want a governor focused on our well-being and families. I am confident that a Democratic governor can fulfill these needs.”

The general election will take place on Nov. 3, 2026.
