DISTURBING details have emerged about the family of missing seven-month-old Emmanuel Haro as the search for him nears a week long.

The baby’s uncle was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend and trying to cover it up in 2017, according to local reports.

The search was initiated by police for Emmanuel after his parents, Rebecca and Jake Haro, reported that their child was abducted from a parking lot in Yucaipa, California, located 72 miles east of Los Angeles, on August 14.

Rebecca claimed that a stranger knocked her unconscious, leaving her with a black eye, and took the baby from her.

In the days following the reported abduction, doubts began to surface as police highlighted “inconsistencies” in Rebecca’s account and noted that the parents were not cooperating with the investigation.

It later surfaced that Jake had earlier pleaded guilty to willful child cruelty after his infant daughter was hospitalized with broken bones in 2018.

Now, unsettling information has come to light about Rebecca’s family, according to The CW affiliate KTLA.

Rebecca’s brother, James Beushausen, is incarcerated with a 50 years to life sentence for the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, Jaylynn Amanda Keith, and attempting to disguise it as a suicide, according to prosecutors.

On March 15, 2017, 27-year-old Keith was discovered with a single gunshot wound to her forehead in the bathtub of the apartment she shared with Beushausen.

During the investigation, Beushausen claimed he was asleep when his girlfriend allegedly shot herself in the bathroom, as reported by the Desert Sun.

Beushausen, 35 at the time, said he woke up to a “popping” sound before he found Keith dead in the bathtub.

But during the trial, prosecutors described Beushausen as a “gun enthusiast” who would have recognized the sound of a gunshot, which helped to unravel his entire case.

It also came out in the trial that Beushausen struggled with alcoholism and was in and out of rehab, which was a major cause of arguments for the couple in their five-year relationship.

A day before she was murdered, Keith told her family she was going to leave Beushausen.

Investigators alleged that Beushausen knocked Keith out, put her in the bathtub, and shot her in the head while shielding himself from blood splatter with the shower curtain.

In October 2018, he was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison for Keith’s murder.

After police said Jake and Rebecca were uncooperative, Jake fired back at the claims through his attorney, Vincent Hughes, who is representing him on a different case.

“I don’t know where that statement that they stopped cooperating came from,” Hughes said on NewsNation’s Banfield on Tuesday.

He said both Jake and Rebecca voluntarily turned over their electronic devices and passwords to investigators.

San Bernardino police said they are unable to rule out foul play in Emmanuel’s disappearance.

Cadaver dogs were seen combing the Haros’ home after the baby’s disappearance.

In a recent update, cops said they’re looking through a “large amount” of surveillance video from the area.
