SAVANNAH, Ga. () — A well-known entity is introducing a fresh concept to downtown Savannah. Goodwill Southeast Georgia is unveiling its second boutique store, The Vault. This establishment will feature curated fashion, unique home goods, and budget-friendly prices, offering an upscale thrifting experience.

For those who aren’t keen on rummaging through racks to find a standout item, your solution has arrived. Goodwill’s new boutique thrift store in Savannah, The Vault, provides handpicked vintage treasures for shoppers seeking something unique and affordable.

This is only the second boutique of its kind opened by Goodwill Southeast Georgia, following the first location on St. Simons Island in May 2024. The Vault got its name from the original store’s location in a former bank vault on St. Simons, which inspired the new Savannah store’s concept.

The Vault in Savannah presents a curated selection of apparel, vintage items, and home decor, with prices starting at just $7.99. Early visitors receive a complimentary custom Goodwill tote, while supplies last. Management emphasizes that every purchase benefits the local community, supporting initiatives like job training through Goodwill’s six opportunity centers. In the previous year, these efforts aided over 4,800 individuals, with more than 600 securing sustainable employment.

“We want everyone to know that by shopping here, all donations and purchases contribute to our mission of education, skills training, and creating employment opportunities at our six Goodwill opportunity centers in Southeast Georgia,” stated Ashlyn Flowers, Public Relations and Community Engagement Manager at Goodwill Southeast Georgia.

The store’s grand opening takes place this morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. For those interested in thrifting or exploring, The Vault is located at 800 Habersham Street, just a short stroll from Forsyth Park.

Even before today’s opening, Savannah’s curiosity has been building. Locals have been peeking through the windows all week. Now, with the ribbon cutting just hours away, they’re ready to see what treasures the vault has inside.
