5 Seconds Of Summer’s Luke Hemmings has welcomed his first child with his wife Sierra Deaton.

The band member, 29, took to Instagram to share an album of sweet pictures to announce their happy news. 

In the blurry, vintage-style pictures, Luke and Sienna can be seen holding their hands on Sierra’s belly while in a rose garden. 

A snap showed the baby’s feet, while another showed the baby holding a tiny bunch of flowers to their chest as the proud mum held their fingers.

‘Our best kept secret,’ they penned, ‘Written and Produced by Sierra and Luke Hemmings.’

The couple, who are believed to have married in 2022, did not confirm the gender of the baby in the caption.

Many of the photos featured the family surrounded by pink roses and flowers. In the comments section, Luke clarified that Sierra had welcomed a baby girl.

He explained the reason for the secrecy by commenting: ‘In our ideal world, we would keep our daughter private forever, just as we chose not to share our wedding photos from years ago for similar reasons.

‘However, going into this next album cycle I’m very aware that her existence would inevitably leak.’

‘To avoid any speculation, we’re posting this now and humbly asking for everyone to respect her privacy,’ he continued.

‘If you happen to see us out and about, please refrain from taking or sharing pictures of her. We plan to keep her name, birthdate, and face private for the foreseeable future.

‘Thank you for understanding and for the support. All our love, The Hemmings.’

Nowadays, Luke lives in Los Angeles with wife Sierra following their engagement in 2021. He confirmed they married at the 81st Golden Globe Awards.

The Australian rock band took to the stage and smashed through their biggest hits at Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, Portugal in September 2023.

Lead singer Luke and his bandmates Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford opted for edgy looks befitting their rock star status.

Luke rocked a flashy pinstripe suit while jamming out on his cherry-coloured Gibson ES-335 guitar, while guitarist Michael wore an oversized T-shirt.

The group concluded their Take My Hand World Tour in December 2022 and subsequently released their third live album, The Feeling of Falling Upwards, in April 2023.

While continuing his involvement with the band, Luke launched his initial solo studio album, When Facing the Things We Turn Away From, through Sony Music Australia in 2021.

Following its rise to number one on the ARIA Albums Chart, Luke released a solo EP titled Boy, which debuted in April, a month before he embarked on his current tour.
