At least 21 schoolchildren suffered injuries in a horrific accident in Pittsburgh.
The bus, transporting the Aliquippa Jr. High School Football Team, lost control and veered off the road in Economy, Boro, Beaver County on Saturday morning.
Among the 25 students aboard, 21 were hurt and have been transported to UPMC Children’s Hospital, as reported by CBS News.
The bus driver is also receiving medical treatment.
The current conditions of those involved remain undisclosed.
“The team has departed from the site of the previous bus incident,” the football team posted on Facebook shortly after 11 am local time.
“Each player is being evaluated.
“Please take a moment to send a thought or prayer for each player or coach that was traveling this morning.”
One woman who said her step-son was on board commented below the post saying the crash was “pretty bad” but that he is okay.
A total of 28 people are believed to have been on board at the time.
The team had celebrated the end of summer camp on Thursday.
