October-like chill

Waking up this morning to more 40s in the region with a clear sky.

Our October-like weather pattern continues today with a mostly sunny sky and mild mid 70s in the Tri-Cities, mid to upper 60s in the mountains.

Near record lows

There will be another chance for record lows tonight as temperatures dip into the upper 40s.

The existing record low is 48.  There will be many areas that drop into the 40s tonight into Thursday morning.

Gradual warming trend into the weekend

Temperatures will finally climb closer to 80 on Friday, with low 80s into the weekend on Saturday.

Moisture returns to the region on Sunday giving us a slight chance for showers Sunday afternoon.

Labor Day is expected to bring sporadic rain to the area, with increasing moisture levels. High temperatures will reach around 80 in the Tri-Cities and around 70 in the mountains, while nighttime lows will be more typical for the season, ranging from the mid to upper 50s.
