Dannel Larkins was initially arrested in connection with Breon Allen’s death. He’s been associated with a Jacksonville gang conflict involving local rappers, and is now facing charges for two additional murders.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One of the six arrested for the murder of 7-year-old Breon Allen has now been tied to a third murder.

Besides Breon’s death, Dannel Larkins was charged with the April 2024 murder of Valondia Norris five months ago. On Thursday, he was also charged with the murder of 31-year-old Kenneth Glover Jr.

Four men, including Larkins, were linked to the Jacksonville gang 6Block. This gang was notably associated with local rapper Foolio, who was fatally shot in June 2024. Before his death, Foolio was engaged in an ongoing rivalry with Jacksonville rapper Yungeen Ace, who court documents identify as the leader of the opposing gang ATK (‘Aces Top Killers’). Glover Jr. was also connected to ATK.

Glover Jr. was found with gunshot wounds in a parking lot outside of the Man-Cave Barbershop on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard last year.

Glover Jr. shared his rap music online under the alias Tiger Sparks. He had a collaboration with Reginald Williams (known as ‘Whoppa Wit Da Choppa’), a recognized affiliate of ATK and collaborator with Yungeen Ace.

Heavily-redacted warrants drew the link between the suspects and the ongoing, bloody gang war between 6Block and ATK.

The shooting also injured 21-year-old Lafayette Mango; the warrant noted Mango and another rapper produced a song titled “6 Ways to Die,” which disparaged various deceased members or allies of 6 Block. The Sheriff’s Office stated that the song mentions Foolio, Lawrence Davis, and Adrian McKinzie. Davis and McKinzie were killed in 2018 and 2023, respectively. The song also mentions rapper Rico Osama, whose real name is Julian House, who was killed in 2023.

“Your affiant believes that this shooting incident was motivated with the purpose to benefit, promote, and/or further the interests of the criminal gang,” the warrant stated.
