JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Johnson City Parks & Recreation hosted its “Soggy Doggy” dog swim event on Saturday and Sunday.

The two-day event gave pet owners a chance to let their dogs swim and splash around in a public pool.

“We noticed some dogs in the pool and were curious about the situation,” mentioned Daniel Leon, a dog owner. “After checking online, we discovered details on Facebook. We thought, ‘why not bring our dog over and let her enjoy a swim as well?'”

The event took place at Legion Street Pool.
