JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sep. 10, 2025) – The ETSU Buccaneers were close to celebrating their first victory on Wednesday night at Summers-Taylor Stadium against the Radford Highlanders.

Despite Jaime Carrillo, the junior from Amarillo, Texas, netting an impressive two goals in the first half to put the Buccaneers (0-4-1) ahead 2-0, the Highlanders (1-2-2) managed to fight back in the second half and maintained their ground during an intense final push, resulting in a draw. 

Carrillo and Isaac paced the Bucs with five shots and three shots on goal apiece. The Bucs host UNC Asheville on Tuesday at 6:00 pm.
