LOS ANGELES — Disney and Pixar’s animated space adventure “Elio,” is set to land on Disney+ this month!
The movie centers around Elio Solis, an eccentric kid infatuated with the universe who unexpectedly encounters aliens. The catch? They believe he represents Earth’s leadership. What begins as a hilarious misunderstanding evolves into a celestial journey where Elio crafts unexpected friendships and uncovers his true self.
“Elio” weaves comedy, warmth, and adventure into a narrative intended for family audiences. The film delves into themes of connection, belonging, and the marvels of exploration, both in the cosmos and at one’s own doorstep.
Bringing these characters to life is a talented cast, featuring Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as his aunt, along with Jameela Jamil, Brad Garrett, Young Dylan, Jake Getman, Matthias Schweighöfer, Ana de la Reguera, and Atsuko Okatsuka, who all provide voices for the alien characters Elio encounters.
The latest addition to Disney and Pixar’s storytelling legacy, arrives exclusively on Disney+ September 17.
