CHICAGO (WLS) — Four men were injured in a South Side shooting on Friday night, Chicago police said.
Police said officers responded to a report of people shot in the Englewood neighborhood’s 6600-block of South Halsted Street just after 9:30 p.m.

Police officers discovered a 38-year-old man lying on the ground, having sustained several gunshot injuries to his body. He was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition is reported as critical.
A second individual affected by the same shooting incident made his way to the same hospital on his own, according to police. This 49-year-old man received a gunshot wound to the leg and is currently in good condition.

Officers then went to St. Bernard Hospital, where two other men injured in the shooting were being treated.
The two men, 35 and 36 years old, each suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Both are listed in good condition.
No one is in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
