WASHINGTON, Utah – The family of the suspect involved in Charlie Kirk’s assassination took an exceptional and rare step in assisting authorities in apprehending him, as an expert mentioned to Fox News Digital.

Authorities report that 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was identified with the help of his own family members – a decision described by one expert as incredibly challenging and noteworthy.

“Their lives are forever altered,” Susan Constantine, an expert in human behavior, shared with Fox News Digital. “By making a stand and doing what was ethically correct, despite the difficulty of turning in their own kin, it must be a burden beyond our imagination.”

Constantine, an expert in threat assessment and deception detection, noted that the family’s actions demonstrate a strong sense of ethics and could potentially be an example for other families dealing with indications of radical behavior.

For Constantine, the case underscores a broader crisis of youth radicalization and grievance-based violence.

“It’s perplexing that we find ourselves in this situation with so many young people feeling lost, angry, and resentful, emerging from this younger generation,” she explained. “It’s critical to identify and address these issues effectively.”

As for Kirk’s legacy, she said he may be remembered not just as an influential political figure, but as a bridge builder.

“That’s what I thought that Kirk did beautifully, was he was bringing everyone together and talking about truth,” Constantine said.

She further expressed what might be the saddest aspect: “He acted correctly. He was suited for the responsibility. He was an apt voice to communicate truth to young people, fostering dialogue and guiding them spiritually without judgment.”
