An AMBER Alert is in effect for a missing Wisconsin female child who is believed to be with her registered sex offender uncle.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Ruby Lehmann, 6, vanished on Thursday around 3:30 p.m. from her grandmother’s home on Hwy D in Almond.
Family members have reportedly stated that Ruby was taken by her uncle, 34-year-old Jordan Coyle. Official records show Coyle’s main place of residence is at Ruby’s grandmother’s home.
The Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry confirms that Coyle is a registered sex offender. He was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a minor, as noted in the registry.
Ruby is described as being approximately 4 feet in height and around 100 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. She was last observed wearing a purple dress paired with Lilo and Stitch-themed shoes.
Coyle is approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs roughly 250 pounds. He has blue eyes and red hair. When last seen, he sported a full red beard and mustache, and he has several tattoos on the upper part of his body.
Coyle’s vehicle is a 2001 Ford 250 pickup truck with Wisconsin plates, WC2249.
An extensive initial search involving local law enforcement, fire departments, and volunteers was launched until Ruby was reported by family members to have left with her boyfriend, Coyle.
The FBI and the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation were then called in to assist in the search, according to WSAW.
