GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) awarded 18 “Keep Tennessee Beautiful Awards of Excellence” grants to several counties throughout the state, with Greene County among them.

At the 2025 Biennial Conference in Memphis, Jennifer Wilder with the Greene County Partnership received an award.

The recipients were individuals from the state’s three grand divisions, recognized for their efforts in enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Tennessee, as highlighted in a news release.

The grants totaled $54,000 and went to 13 environmental leaders across the state.
