Surveillance video shows Dallas ICE agents protecting detainees as gunfire rains down on facility

Footage obtained by Fox News reveals the intense moments when ICE agents took shelter and worked to protect detainees as gunfire erupted outside a Dallas facility on Wednesday morning.

The video displays agents seeking cover beside two white vans while swiftly ushering detainees inside, where an ICE agent urgently directed them down a corridor. One of the handcuffed detainees seemed to be injured and had a bleeding head wound.

Soon after, six agents left the building and approached one of the vans. Two individuals crouched behind it, as an agent in full tactical gear opened the driver’s side to inspect the back of the vehicle. Another individual, donning blue rubber medical gloves, followed suit and gestured for assistance.

In August, Jahn searched for apps that tracked the movement of ICE agents, according to the FBI.

He also left a note behind that said, “Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?”

“AP” is a common acronym in the gun community that stands for “armor piercing.”

A photo posted to X by Patel showed four bullets, one with “ANTI-ICE” written on the casing.

Nancy Larson, the acting U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas, informed the media on Thursday that this shooting marks the third violent incident or threat against ICE facilities during her four months in the position.

“I want to emphasize one of the notes or papers the sniper left behind states clearly, ‘Yes, it was just me,'” Larson said. “Currently, that appears to be an accurate statement in the investigation.”
