New: FBI Director Patel Lops Off Comey-Era Ties With ADL

FBI Director Kash Patel has been making significant changes at the troubled FBI. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives are being phased out, in favor of focusing on traditional police work. Additionally, the FBI is distancing itself from organizations that are not aligned with American values. One such organization is the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which had previously labeled Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA as an example of “Extremism and Hate” in its glossary.

Under former FBI Director James Comey, the bureau maintained a close relationship with the ADL. However, according to an exclusive report from Fox News, Director Patel is terminating that partnership effectively and decisively.

FBI Director Kash Patel is cutting ties with the Anti-Defamation League that the bureau forged under its former boss James Comey.

“James Comey’s tenure tarnished the FBI’s reputation due to his overt admiration for the ADL, as well as embedding agents with a radical group that acted similarly to a terrorist entity. Their operations spied on Americans, which was disguised activism under the pretense of counterterrorism, jeopardizing American safety,” Patel stated to Fox News Digital.

“That era is finished. This FBI formally rejects Comey’s policies and any partnership with the ADL,” he added.

It’s certainly not an overreaction to note that Comey slobbered all over the ADL, either.

On May 8, 2017, Comey spoke at the National Leadership Summit of the Anti-Defamation League in Washington, D.C. and expressed his and the FBI’s affection for the organization. He recalled a speech from 2014, calling it a “love letter to the ADL,” and continued, “Three years on, from the FBI’s standpoint, our affection remains strong.”

“We are not only educating ourselves, we are working with the ADL to build bridges in the communities we serve,” Comey said in his 2017 speech.

“For over a century, your advocacy for justice and equality… is something we deeply appreciate. Not only as a law enforcement and national security body but also as fellow Americans and human beings,” Comey remarked.

He concluded his speech with the words, “Love, the FBI.”

Ew. Just… ew.

This sentiment about “justice and equality,” notably, seemed to overlook fairness towards Charlie Kirk and his organization. TPUSA was not an extremist group, and Charlie Kirk was a rational thinker; his main activity involved engaging in dialogues, encouraging open discussion and debate. While he sometimes erred on issues, he was frequently correct, prompting thought among those open to introspection.

And the ADL calls that “extremism?” Talking?
