An Idaho psychiatrist has been arrested for allegedly raping a patient with a foreign object.
According to Boise police, an investigation lasted nearly a month before they detained 45-year-old Alexander Wills, who faces charges of forcible penetration using a foreign object.
Authorities reported that the incident was brought to their attention on September 2 by a woman who claimed that Wills “made aggressive physical contact” and assaulted the victim with a foreign object.
Wills’ biography on Psychology Today reveals that he graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine and operates PERMA Mental Health and Ketamine Clinic, which has multiple locations in Idaho. Currently, access to the clinic’s website is restricted and requires a password.
Wills is also the author of a self-help book, “Give a F*ck, Actually.”
He was arrested on September 30 and is being held on a $500,000 bail, although jail records also say he is on a “booking hold.”
Police expressed concern about the possibility of more victims and urged those with additional information to contact Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790 or reach out to the Ada County Victim Services Center.
