Moving day is nearly here: Construction wraps up at Urbana's Clark Lindsey

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — Construction at Clark Lindsey in Urbana is nearing completion, allowing residents to move into the newly developed living spaces later this month.

The North building features a new three-story structure with 45 independent living apartments designed with modern aesthetics. The expansion further comprises 38 assisted living apartments and 26 memory care assisted living apartments.

Established in 1978, Clark Lindsey is situated at the intersection of Race Street and Windsor Road in Urbana. The latest addition, known as The Connection, links to the main building and serves as a social hub. It includes amenities such as a salon and spa, a billiards game room, a multimedia room, an art studio, and a small group fitness class area.

“The concept is to come when you are active and can engage in our various activities, excursions, and offerings, enjoying all the advantages here at Clark Lindsey. Then, as your healthcare needs evolve, we have the necessary resources here so you don’t have to relocate again,” said Karen Blatzer, Resident and Community Navigator.

The first residents in the new building will move in on Monday.
