An Ohio woman paid an unexpected visit to her boyfriend’s house that allegedly ended with him being taken to the hospital.

Officials in Toledo have released a warrant for the apprehension of Jeanita Hopings, 45, on accusations of felonious assault and aggravated burglary. Based on court records reviewed by Law&Crime, Hopings is accused of “kicking open the front door” of her boyfriend’s residence on Tuesday while armed with an “unknown instrument.”

Local ABC affiliate WTVG obtained further documents indicating that the boyfriend checked the supposed break-in without any clothing.

Court filings reveal that Hopings allegedly injured her boyfriend’s “testicle sac” with the instrument, resulting in a laceration needing medical attention at a nearby hospital. Officials reported that the boyfriend’s “testicle was clearly exposed” due to Hopings’ accused assault.

Although court records mention that Hopings and the victim were “in a relationship” and identified the man as her boyfriend, they clarified that they do not cohabit. The documents suggested that Hopings allegedly “knowingly and forcefully” broke into the man’s home by kicking the door down.

According to WTVG’s account, the man informed police he heard noises and went to investigate unclothed. There, Hopings allegedly confronted him in his home, entering “without permission or consent.” The court documents did not include a potential motive for Hopings’ alleged actions, and a warrant for her arrest was released on Wednesday.

Hopings is still at large and wanted by police. Her most recent social media activity appears to be a Facebook post from Monday night.
