Halloween and Día de los Muertos events

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — With the arrival of spooky season, there’s an array of exciting events happening across the Coastal Empire and the Lowcountry. Unless otherwise specified, all the events are free and available for everyone to enjoy:

Coastal Empire:

  • Wag-o-Ween weekend, Oct. 25 – 26, is one of the biggest Renegade Paws Rescue fundraising events of the year. Dress up your pet and participate in a parade from Starland to River Street.
  • Family-friendly Savannah Impact Program’s Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 30 at 2005 Waters Avenue at 6 p.m. with vendors, artisans, music, games and more:
  • Statesboro Police Department’s Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 25 from 3-5 p.m. with free treats, face painting, meet and greet, and touch
  • Halloween Night on Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Central Precinct at 1710 MLK Jr Blvd.
  • Donovan Rehab 4th Annual Trunk or Treat, Wednesday, Oct. 15 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at 315 W. Memorial Dr., Hinesville, S.C.

Lowcountry:

  • Halloween celebration on Oct. 18 at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. Festivities with music, games and activities begin at 10 a.m. and trick-or-treating starts at 12:30 p.m.

Coastal Empire:

  • SOYxSOY will have a celebration of life on Nov. 2 at Savoy Society from 5 p.m. until close. Expect colors, music and a vibrant night.

Lowcountry:

  • Dia De Los Muertos Celebration, Saturday, Nov. 1 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Tio’s Latin American Kitchen, Shelter Cover Towne Center
