Georgia Burger King Employee Shot Over Wrong Food Order, Police Seek Tips

A wrong order at a Georgia Burger King drive-thru left an employee shot and two women wanted by law enforcement.

On Friday night at approximately 8:00 p.m., law enforcement responded to an incident at the Burger King located at 1130 Moreland Ave. SE, Atlanta. Officers discovered a 35-year-old individual suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, as reported by ANF.

According to 11Alive News, the injured person is expected to recover. Police stated that when the victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, they were conscious, breathing, and alert.

Initial investigations indicated that the situation started with a dispute over a food order at the drive-thru, which escalated physically when the two suspects entered the establishment, spat on the victim, and flung various items.

The altercation then escalated when one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

The police are seeking help to identify the two female suspects involved. Individuals providing information that leads to their arrest and prosecution could receive a reward of up to $5,000.
