A legal battle involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni over their upcoming 2024 film, “It Ends With Us,” has led to several of their co-stars being called for depositions.

Actresses Jenny Slate, aged 41, and Isabela Ferrer, aged 20, were among those questioned over the summer. Additionally, a source confirmed to People that Colleen Hoover, the 45-year-old author of the novel that inspired the film, recently participated in a deposition.

Blake Lively, 38, has also been questioned under oath outside the courtroom as part of the lawsuit’s discovery phase, according to sources.

Others involved in the legal process include Lively’s longtime publicist Leslie Sloane, her talent agent Warren Zavala, and Vivian Baker, the makeup artist who collaborated with her on the film set.

Notably, Ryan Reynolds, Lively’s husband, and her former best friend, Taylor Swift, have not been deposed in connection with the case.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Lively, Reynolds, Baldoni, Slate, and Ferrer for additional comments on the unfolding situation.

Baldoni, along with his co-defendants — producer Jamey Heath, publicist Jennifer Abel, and executives Melissa Nathan, Steve Sarowitz, and Jed Wallace — also participated in depositions.

Baldoni’s former agent, Danny Greenberg, Greenberg a former WME agent who worked with Baldoni, recently made headlines for his testimony, during which he criticized Lively’s alleged ‘extortion-like behavior’ during production,’ according to a deposition Daily Mail obtained.

Greenberg said he assisted Baldoni, who directed the motion picture, in composing emails to Sony to flag behavior on Lively’s part that he described as ‘continued extortion and effort to gain control of the film’ in the deposition.

Greenberg subsequently qualified his use of the word, saying it was in reference to the conduct and growing tension between the companies Wayfair and Sony, as opposed to actual criminal extortion.

‘My use of the word extortion there was referencing just cumulative behavior that both the studio and [Wayfarer Studios] and Justin was having to manage,’ Greenberg said.

Lively claimed Baldoni had sexually harassed her while making It Ends with Us, which was a surprise hit when it arrived in theaters in August of 2024.

The motion picture, based off the 2016 novel by Colleen Hoover, earned $148 million in domestic box office, and $350 million globally – but whatever goodwill the film garnered has since been overshadowed by the allegations made by its stars.

In December of 2024, Lively named Baldoni in a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment, retaliatory conduct, and intentional infliction of emotional stress.

In her lawsuit, the Gossip Girl alum accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her in multiple ways – including body shaming her – and orchestrating a smear campaign against her to damage her reputation.

In her lawsuit, Lively named a number of Baldoni’s collaborators, including his company Wayfarer Studios, the studio’s CEO and financial backer, and PR personnel Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel.

Baldoni had initially asked for $250 million in damages from The New York Times, then added it into the $400 million lawsuit he filed this past January.

In the suit, Baldoni named Lively, her spouse Ryan Reynolds and her publicist Leslie Sloane, citing the aforementioned report in legal documents. It was thrown out of court this past June.

All parties have denied all of the allegations against them.
