Brunswick man charged with electronic child explotation

In a troubling development from Glynn County, Georgia, a 28-year-old man from Brunswick has been apprehended on serious charges related to electronic child exploitation. The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) has identified the individual as Raymond Mills, who is accused of engaging in inappropriate communications with a minor.

The alarming situation came to light on Saturday, October 18, when GCPD officers responded to a distressing call concerning messages they described as “sexually explicit in nature.” During their investigation, authorities discovered that Mills had allegedly solicited explicit photographs from the minor, intensifying the gravity of the charges.

Following this discovery, police acted quickly, detaining Mills at his home. He was then taken into custody for questioning and subsequently arrested. He now faces a charge of electronic child exploitation and is being held at the Glynn County Detention Center.

The investigation is still ongoing, and the police department is urging anyone with information related to Raymond Mills or this case to come forward. Tips can be provided directly to GCPD at 912-554-3645 or submitted anonymously through the Silent Witness program by calling 912-264-1333. The community’s assistance is instrumental in ensuring justice and safeguarding vulnerable individuals.

According to police, Mills was detained at his residence, where he was transported for questioning. He was later arrested and transported to the Glynn County Detention Center, where police say he is charged with one count of electronic child exploitation.

While this remains an active investigation, any information regarding Mills or this case should be sent to GCPD at 912-554-3645 or anonymously via Silent Witness at 912-264-1333.
