GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — Ballad Health held one of its regular Community Baby Showers on Tuesday at the Greeneville Community Hospital.

The purpose of these gatherings, as explained by Ballad, is to equip expectant mothers from diverse backgrounds and age groups with essential tools and supplies for welcoming a new baby.

The event included valuable resources such as car seat safety guidance, insights into the hospital’s OB/GYN teams, and a glimpse into the Family Birth Center.

In addition to the educational offerings, families enjoyed engaging in fun activities through door prizes.

Robin Roberts, the Chief Nursing Officer at Greeneville Community Hospital, shared with News Channel 11 that attendees gain a wealth of valuable information at these community baby showers.

“You do get a gift bag, and then you’re able to go to all the different tables that we have set up and gather that information,” she said. “We have some good information as well on safe sleeping. You know, information on car seat safety and things like that. And they can take all that information home with them.”

More information about community events hosted by Ballad Health can be found on the company’s social media.
