Las Vegas is set to welcome a unique theme park experience, RetroEscapes, designed to transport visitors on a nostalgic journey through the past. This innovative park will celebrate the cultural essence of the 1950s through the 1990s, offering a distinct area dedicated to each decade.

RetroEscapes promises a vibrant array of attractions, rides, interactive activities, dining options, shopping venues, and live performances, each capturing the spirit of its respective era. Additionally, a special section known as the “Tomorrow Zone” will provide a sneak peek into what the future might hold.

Visitors will begin their adventure by stepping through a time portal, which will whisk them away to explore iconic moments from the ’50s to the ’90s. This immersive experience was announced by Daniel Leo Jr., a prominent influencer and self-proclaimed “CEO of Las Vegas,” via a social media post.

The project is spearheaded by Daniel Leo Jr. and his father, Daniel Leo Sr. The creative design and construction of the park are entrusted to PGAV Destinations, renowned for their work on Disney World’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and other notable attractions such as SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida.

Leo and his father, Daniel Leo Sr., are the founders behind the project. PGAV Destinations, the team behind Disney World’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, and Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida, will build the park.

The park will be anchored by the “Fountain of Youth,” which will feature a nightly laser and fireworks show celebrating the icons of American pop culture through the decades.

The park is being designed as a hybrid indoor-outdoor, multi-level park, complete with cooling measures to ensure a comfortable experience year-round.

The theme park has been in the works for seven years, according to Daniel Leo Jr.

When asked about the park’s timeline, Daniel Leo Jr. provided an update to potential visitors.

“We’re currently in active talks with land partners, the city/county and strategic partners,” he wrote. “It’s still too early to give an exact timeline, but updates will be shared as things progress.”

An opening date for the park has not been announced.
