Sophie Turner, the stunning Game of Thrones star, was once on the path to marrying into the aristocracy. However, she’s now reportedly exchanged her aristocratic beau, Hon. Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson, for music sensation Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay.
Sources reveal that the 48-year-old musician, who recently ended his relationship with American actress Dakota Johnson, went on a secret rendezvous with 29-year-old Sophie shortly after her breakup with Perry, which ended a relationship that lasted nearly two years.
Although there were rumors of multiple breakups and reconciliations over the summer, insiders confirm that Sophie and Perry officially parted ways following a grand society wedding in late September. Witnesses noted their public disagreements and heated exchanges amidst passionate moments on the dance floor.
Sophie quickly moved on from the end of her engagement, reportedly going on a date with Martin just a week after the split from her would-be Viscount.
Martin, who is known for his amicable ‘conscious uncoupling’ from ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, spent this summer in London for Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres tour, which included several sold-out shows at Wembley.
As Sophie seems to have found new romance with the Coldplay star, it appears Perry is not lingering in the past either, having moved on promptly.
My sources say the heir to the Cowdray estate in West Sussex was seen at a trendy West London nightclub last week, hand-in-hand with a willowy, long-legged blonde who had an uncanny – and rather amusing – resemblance to Sophie.
