In a recent twist of events, Eric Williams, a 37-year-old man already in custody for a bank robbery, now faces additional charges in Savannah, Georgia. The Savannah Police Department (SPD) has linked Williams to a home invasion that took place on the same day as the bank heist.
Williams was initially detained for the robbery of the Bank of America located on E. Victory Drive, which unfolded on October 23. However, the legal troubles for Williams have escalated as he is now being charged with a multitude of offenses related to a separate crime earlier that morning.

The charges against Williams include home invasion, two counts each of aggravated assault, kidnapping, and false imprisonment. Additionally, he faces charges for theft by taking a firearm, theft by taking an automobile, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
