Jennifer Aniston's ex-husband Justin Theroux gives Jim Curtis romance his stamp of approval

Jennifer Aniston’s love life has once again captured the public’s attention as her former spouse, Justin Theroux, has shown support for her budding relationship with Jim Curtis. This approval came in the form of a “like” on Aniston’s Instagram post, where she officially introduced her new partner to her followers. The post drew an impressive audience, garnering nearly 1.5 million likes.

The renowned “Friends” actress, now 56, and Theroux, 54, shared a matrimonial bond from 2015 until their separation in 2018. Their split, as Page Six exclusively revealed, was largely due to Aniston’s aversion to living in New York City. The bustling city life, coupled with Theroux’s residence in Greenwich Village, was a stark contrast to Aniston’s preference for privacy. She reportedly found the constant paparazzi presence and the small apartment overwhelming.

As life moved on, Theroux found love again and is now married to Nicole Brydon Bloom, with the couple having exchanged vows in March 2025. Meanwhile, Aniston’s romance with Curtis, a 50-year-old hypnotist, first caught the public eye back in July. The pair was spotted enjoying a romantic getaway in Mallorca, Spain, sparking initial speculation about their relationship.

Page Six exclusively reported that they split because the “We’re The Millers” star hated residing in New York City, where Theroux owned a place in Greenwich Village, and she “couldn’t deal with the paparazzi and the pokey apartment.”

Theroux is now married to Nicole Brydon Bloom. They tied the knot in March 2025.

Meanwhile, Aniston and Curtis, 50, first sparked dating rumors in July when they were seen on an intimate vacation in Mallorca, Spain.

The couple — who were joined by Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka — were photographed enjoying their Fourth of July weekend during a yacht party.

At one point, the health guru lovingly caressed Aniston and gave her a back massage while they were on the pricey vessel.

Following the romantic getaway, Curtis gushed about the “love” in his life in his newsletter.

“I am back from vacation and what an experience!” he wrote. “When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis.”

On Sunday, Aniston went Instagram official with her beau while celebrating his 50th birthday.

“Happy birthday my love Cherished ❤️,” she captioned the post.

Curtis took to the comments section, replying, “😘.”

In the black-and-white snap, Aniston held Curtis from behind as they smiled for the camera.

Days before the “Horrible Bosses” actress’s post, Curtis gave one of his Instagram followers advice on how to date in your 40s.

“Same as you do at 22 and 32, but with more confidence, more experience and more authenticity,” he replied to a fan during a Q&A session.

“You are not old. First, love yourself and recognize that you are the perfect age and that life is not over at 42. When you are 62 and 72, you will look back at 42 and wish that you were that age,” Curtis added.

“So start now, go out, open yourself to love, make eye contact and smile, connect with people, and most importantly, love yourself. When you love yourself, you will magnetize more love to you.”
