McDonald's meltdown: Michigan woman wanted after allegedly tossing hot coffee at manager

A Michigan woman was captured on surveillance footage throwing hot coffee at a McDonald’s manager following a disagreement, according to police reports.

The Buena Vista Police Department shared a video on social media showcasing a verbal altercation between a woman and a manager inside a McDonald’s. The confrontation escalated, resulting in the woman seemingly tossing coffee at the manager before leaving.

Authorities from Buena Vista informed Fox News that the woman involved has been identified as Casharra Brown. The manager, who was targeted, has chosen to remain anonymous.

This incident unfolded on Tuesday, November 4th, when Brown placed an order through the McDonald’s app but failed to provide her name or payment details during the transaction.

According to police, the situation intensified when Brown expressed dissatisfaction with the two sandwiches she received. Attempting to pacify the upset customer, the manager offered her a coffee. However, this gesture did not appease Brown, leading to a heated exchange.

Brown was unhappy with the two sandwiches she had ordered and began to speak with the manager. The fast-food worker offered the irate customer a coffee in an attempt to calm her, but Brown was not satisfied, according to authorities. The argument then became heated.

The video appears to show Brown removing the lid from the cup and throwing the hot coffee at the manager just as the manager turned and began to walk away.

Brown hurled obscenities at the manager and left the building as the fast-food worker screamed in pain, according to the footage.

The McDonald’s manager had minor injuries but was not treated at a hospital, police told Fox News.

Buena Vista police said a warrant for Brown’s arrest has been issued and authorities are working to apprehend her.

“We know where she lives,” police told Fox News.
