The vibrant and sultry city of Belem, Brazil, has become a focal point as it hosts COP 30, aimed at addressing global climate concerns. As diplomats and experts gather for these critical discussions, local escorts see an opportunity to benefit from the evening downtime of these influential visitors.

An array of high-end escorts have booked into hotels and secured Airbnb accommodations in preparation for the event. This two-week summit, anticipated to attract over 50,000 attendees, is set amid the lush Amazon rainforest and will commence officially on Monday.

Much like the annual summit in Davos, some attendees will seek leisure and relaxation after engaging in the intense talks aimed at steering the planet toward a sustainable future.

A regional escort agency, SexyNorte, has reported a surge in advertisements from women in anticipation of the conference’s start. The event was prefaced by a preliminary gathering last week, which featured notable figures such as Prince William and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The Daily Mail caught up with an escort named Angel, who traveled from Fortaleza, located 900 miles away. She agreed to an interview at a café with a view of the River Guama, where she candidly discussed her profession over a cappuccino.

Angel, exuding sophistication in her designer attire and carrying a chic black handbag, charges £250 per hour. She expressed optimism about her month-long stay, stating, “I’m here for a month, and I’m expecting to make some good money.”

‘The people attending COP30 will be intelligent and will be looking for conversation with a like-minded person and they will find that with me; I am a luxury escort not a street prostitute with a pimp.

‘I know how to behave in high society, and I am comfortable in all situations from formal dinners to cocktail receptions and I have a glamorous wardrobe that will suit any occasion.’

Thanks to her Germanic ancestors, Angel is tall, has flowing blonde hair and deep blue eyes – setting her apart from the local women and was able to speak in almost perfect English.

On her NorteSexy page her biography adds:’ Angel, a luxury escort who doesn’t go unnoticed, originally from Rio Grande do Sul, with German decadency.

‘Among her striking attributes are her full. Natural breasts and captivating blue eyes.

‘Standing at 1.73m tall, she is elegant and a very discreet companion, perfect for any occasion. At 27 years old, Angel is making her debut in Belem.’

Angel – who graduated from university with a degree in marketing – explained how she turned to escorting after her clothes boutique went under during Covid saddling her with a huge debt.

She said:’ A friend of mine suggested I try escorting, at first, I wasn’t sure but then I talked about it with her and my family and I have been doing it ever since – and before you ask, yes I’ve cleared my debt.

‘My father works in media, and my mother is a psychologist they both have good jobs and offered to help me out, but I am an independent woman and want to make my own way in life.

‘They have not judged me about what I do, the only person who doesn’t know about my professional life is my sister.’

Angel – dressed in a tight black top, baggy beige trousers accessorised with a Louis Vuitton belt, explained she initially found work as a model after Covid and them from there ended up working as an escort in Fortaleza but also in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro.

Her clients are mainly Brazilian but with COP30 in town for two weeks she is hoping to broaden her horizons internationally – she told the Daily Mail she had toyed with the idea of going to Sao Paolo for the Brazilian Grand Prix this weekend but opted for Belem.

Angel added:’ It would have been three days of hard work but here I can get at least two weeks and have some time off in between – plus it also gets ridiculously expensive to find a room in Sao Paolo when the Formula One is in town.’

As she chatted with the Daily Mail, Angel’s striking beauty caught the attention of several passers-by and naturally prompted the Pretty Woman question:’ Have any of your clients fallen in love with you?’

Laughing Angel replied:’ One or two have, they want me to marry them and offer me more money and jewels, but I haven’t found anyone that I want to share the rest of my life with yet, maybe one day and I hope I will.

‘I know this life I lead has only a limited time, so I have given myself until 35 and then I will try and find someone to have family with – at least at the moment I’m not like many other Brazilian women with lots of kids and the infrastructure can’t cope.’

Displaying a shrewd business sense Angel – who carries a card reader for clients which gives out receipts for a ‘convenience store’ to avoid any potential embarrassment from a misplaced transaction record.

However, like most women in the business she prefers cash and added:‘I have made enough money to buy my apartment, and I also have a few investments, I use the money to buy gold which always keeps adding in value.

‘Obviously I have to buy designer clothes as well, so I look the part and I have an extensive wardrobe, Chanel handbags and jewellery but when you hire me you are getting a quality product, I am not embarrassed to say it.

‘I am all natural and have no silicone in me at all, I haven’t had excessive plastic surgery, what you see is what you get, and I think I am well worth the money.’

When asked if she ever had strange requests Angel said:’ Yes, all the time, people are very strange with vivid imaginations but so long as they pay me, I am happy to do anything they ask.

‘One client asks me to dress as a maid and humiliate him, another wants to be intimate while wearing my clothes and what I get a lot of is men asking me to walk over them with my heels on, like I said people are strange.’

Elsewhere there are dozens of women offering their services and one brunette woman – called Suzy – even highlights how she is in town specifically for the COP 30 summit.

On her page she adds:’ I’m a Brazilian escort passionate about life and the opportunity to meet new people.

‘My personality is affectionate, polite, and I always strive to provide special moments for those who are with.

‘I’m looking forward to meeting interesting people and sharing unforgettable moments together.

‘I’ll be the sweetheart of your dreams in bed, my love. If you’re looking for pleasant and relaxed company, get in touch with me. I will be eagerly waiting for you.’

Prostitution in Brazil is legal and according to the latest estimates is worth 2 billion reais a year (£284,000,0000 GBP) and a study by Portal Mercado Erotico projects it will grow annually by 8% until 2028.

Its report added:’ Large international events tend to increase this revenue in th cities that host them. The expectation is similar in Belem.’

One escort called Beatriz Sousa, who spoke to Brazilian media about working at COP 30, said:’ I have been preparing myself by studying communication in English. I can already understand well and express myself clearly.

‘In addition, I am investing in fast translation resources to ensure a positive social experience for foreign clients.’

Speaking to Politica Diversa, Beatriz said she had already received initial inquiries from clients interested in booking her services during COP30 and added:’ My expectations are positive, since this type of event attracts people from all over the world.

‘My goal is to take advantage of the extra traffic to increase revenue in an organised and safe way.’

Over WhatsApp, the person in charge of NorteSexy, who declined to give their name told the Daily Mail:’ We have a refined and discreet selection of escorts, very discerning and undoubtedly catering to the more upmarket gentleman.

‘The girls are well educated, university level and some speak several languages, they can maintain polite conversation and know how to behave at any event or function.

‘The website promotes itself by advertising, creating a page with a video, and reinforcing direct contact with the girl. This guarantees confidentiality and security for clients.

‘People from other countries are already making contact, scheduling meetings for when they arrive in Belem.

‘The demand ranges from companionship for dinner to more specific jobs.’

Maria Elias Silveira, of the Coisa de Puta, a sex workers collective, told the Daily Mail:’ In the region as a whole we look after 500 sex workers but certainly in the last few days that number has increased by at least 150 with COP 30.

‘They have come from across Brazil because they know there are people flying in from all over the world and will be looking for some intimacy after work and they will have money.

‘What we are telling sex workers is to be aware of the increased risk of sexually transmitted infections and also the potential for violence.

‘Activity is expected to increase with COP 30 and the arrival of delegations from all over the world and we know that sex workers have already been contacted by people looking for meetings.’
