Cold winter-like day, warm-up begins Wednesday

Chilly Start to the Week with Warmer Weather on the Horizon for Wednesday

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Residents are waking up to an unusually brisk morning as record-low temperatures grip the area. Despite the sunny skies, the day will remain cool as cold winds persist.

The mercury will only climb to the upper 50s, with wind chills maintaining the mid to upper 50s due to a lingering breeze. Tonight will be chilly, though slightly milder compared to this morning’s freeze.

A gradual warming trend is set to kick off by tomorrow afternoon, with temperatures reaching the low 70s. By Friday, highs in the upper 70s are expected, and come the weekend, the forecast predicts a return to the low 80s.

The weather remains stable, with minimal chances of rain through early next week. Low humidity will persist, and the next weather front isn’t anticipated until the middle of next week.
