A man found guilty of rape and his girlfriend received sentences on Thursday after admitting to a scheme to eliminate the prosecutor and judge involved in his case.

In May 2024, Alexander Kise was handed a 35-year prison term for his rape conviction. On Thursday, a court extended his sentence by another 5 to 15 years for two conspiracy charges, according to a report by WHAM.

Kise’s partner, Alydia Gater, admitted to the same offenses and received a prison sentence ranging from 2 to 6 years.

CrimeOnline had previously revealed that after Kise’s conviction for the 2022 abduction and sexual assault of a high school senior, he and Gater discussed their plot in recorded jail phone conversations. Court records indicated they shared descriptions and locations of their targets.

Unbeknownst to them, their “hitman” was an undercover agent with the New York State Police.

On Thursday, the court issued protection orders for the plot’s two intended targets, as reported by WHAM.
