Trump Calls for House Republicans to 'Vote to Release' Epstein Files

President Donald Trump has urged House Republicans to vote in favor of releasing documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, stating that it is essential for the country to “move on from this Democrat Hoax.”

In a Truth Social post, Trump emphasized his desire for Republicans to “get BACK ON POINT” by concentrating on the achievements of his administration. These achievements, according to Trump, include securing the southern border, deporting criminal illegal immigrants, and safeguarding women’s sports from athletes who are transgender.

“As I mentioned aboard Air Force One to the Fake News Media, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files. We have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax orchestrated by Radical Left Lunatics, who aim to distract from the Republican Party’s great success, including our recent victory over the Democrat ‘Shutdown,’” Trump declared in his post.

Trump further highlighted that the Department of Justice has already released “tens of thousands of pages” to the public concerning Epstein. He noted that they are investigating Democrats like former President Bill Clinton and Democratic donor Reid Hoffman regarding their connections to Epstein.

News’s Nick Gilbertson reported that Trump has expressed intentions to ask Attorney General Pam Bondi to “investigate ties” among Epstein, Clinton, Hoffman, and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.

In addition, Trump underscored his primary focus: “I care about getting Republicans BACK ON POINT, addressing the Economy, ‘Affordability’—where we are winning big! Our victory in reducing inflation from historical highs to nearly nothing, lowering prices for Americans, delivering historic tax cuts, attracting record levels of investment into America, rebuilding our military, securing our border, deporting criminal illegal aliens, ending men’s involvement in women’s sports, halting widespread transgender policies, and much more!”

Trump’s post continued in part:

Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive and, if the Democrats had anything they would have released it before our Landslide Election Victory. Some “members” of the Republican Party are being “used,” and we can’t let that happen. Let’s start talking about the Republican Party’s Record Setting Achievements, and not fall into the Epstein “TRAP,” which is actually a curse on the Democrats, not us. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Trump’s post comes as a “discharge petition for the House to vote to force” the DOJ to release additional files relating to Epstein was reported to have “received its final signature,” and received support from the House Democrats and Republicans such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), according to the New York Post.
