Marjorie Taylor Greene’s daughter, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother, has stepped into the spotlight to support her amid a heated public disagreement with former President Donald Trump.

The congresswoman from Georgia is currently facing intense online criticism due to her efforts to release documents that some speculate may link Trump to the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous convicted sex offender.

In response to Greene’s actions, Trump has publicly withdrawn his endorsement, accusing her of veering ‘Far Left’ and labeling her a ‘ranting lunatic’ in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Despite this backlash, Greene is receiving backing from various quarters, including her 27-year-old daughter, Lauren Greene Sanders. Sanders, who is building a presence on social media with 48,000 followers across Instagram and X, is vocally defending her mother.

When a user on X, owned by Elon Musk, disparagingly referred to Greene as ‘Marjorie Traitor Greene,’ Sanders was quick to respond.

“It’s ironic how you include MAGA in your bio, which stands for ‘Make America Great Again,’ yet you’re calling her a traitor,” Sanders retorted. “She is one of the genuine individuals striving to improve America by steadfastly advocating for us, the American people, with her America First approach.”

‘Put your ego in your closet, we need to stop fighting with each other,’ she urged. ‘Unless you’re a fake MAGA.’

Sanders also denied Trump’s assertion that her mother is becoming more liberal, following an appearance on The View.

‘Let me be clear – Marjorie Taylor Greene is not becoming a Democrat. Never has been. Never will be,’ she posted on Instagram, along with a clip from the interview.

‘What she is becoming… is a bigger problem for the Left – and for the weak, woke “Right,”‘ Sanders asserted.

‘My mom is unapologetically America First. She’s not in politics to play games – she’s in it to fight for the truth, for our freedom and for the future of this country.’

‘Some people on the Right may not agree with her for going on The View,’ the 27-year-old noted as she invoked the words of the late Charlie Kirk: ‘When people stop talking, really bad stuff starts… when civilization stops talking, civil war ensues.’

‘My mom chooses courage over comfort, every single time,’ Sanders concluded. 

‘She’d rather stand alone in the truth than blend in with corruption,’ she wrote. ‘That’s real leadership. That’s real America First.’

Sanders has also used her platform to ask the public for prayers for her mother’s safety, after Greene claimed she is receiving death threats.

As tensions continued, Sanders shared a clip of her mother’s tirade against the president on CNN Sunday, writing: ‘So proud of you for fighting for the TRUTH!’

She has since come to her mother’s defense several times, hitting out at ‘fake MAGA’ who oppose her

She wrote on Sunday that she is proud of her mother ‘for fighting for the TRUTH!’

The 27-year-old announced her public online presence in a Facebook post in March, along with a photo of her, her mother, Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

‘Hi friends and patriots!’ she wrote at the time. ‘I recently decided to take a leap and go public on social media! I’ll be sharing my life, thoughts and experiences – everything from faith and patriotism to creativity and everyday moments.

‘Excited to connect with like-minded people,’ Sanders wrote.

But since the post, Sanders’s mother has notably disagreed with the president on a number of issues – from healthcare to tariffs, to his administration’s failure to release documents related to Epstein’s crimes.

In her interview on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, Greene even scorned Trump for welcoming Syrian president Ahmed al-Sharaa to the White House this week.

The Saudi-born leader joined al-Qaeda in Iraq just before the US invasion in 2003. He was captured by American forces and imprisoned for five years until 2011 – and there has been a $10 million bounty on his head since.

Greene has been fighting to release documents related to Epstein’s crimes 

Greene referenced the leader’s terrorism ties in her interview, saying that the President’s actions were a disgrace and slap in the face to the thousands of veterans who have fought in the Middle East. 

She attacked Trump for welcoming him into the White House on the 250-year anniversary of the Marines.

‘I think that was very hurtful to the great men and women who served over in the Middle East and were sent there, and many of them that were killed and injured and live with PTSD to this day, from fighting al Qaeda,’ Greene added.

Greene stopped short of calling herself more ‘America First’ than Trump when prompted to do so by Bash, but she did note that ‘promoting H1B visas to replace American jobs, bringing in 600,000 Chinese students to replace American students…  are not America first positions.’

In the wide-ranging interview, which lasted about 20 minutes, Greene also doubled down on her push to release the Department of Justice’s files relating to financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who was a known associate of top government, media, and business leaders both in the United States and the United Kingdom.

However, she maintained that nothing in the files would be damaging to Trump, per the female victims that she has spoken to and given a platform to share their stories. 

‘I stand with these women. I stand with rape victims, I stand with children who are in terrible sex abuse situations, and I stand with survivors of trafficking and those that are trapped in sex trafficking’, Greene told Dana Bash, adding that she would keep playing her ‘small part’ for the files to be released because ‘rich and powerful people’ should not be protected if they have done anything wrong.

Greene has gained some support for her actions, with Republicans from her conservative district said they will stand behind her amid her feud with the president. 

Meanwhile, Greene’s boyfriend, Brian Glenn, is gaining flack for sharing a photo of them together and declaring: ‘I love this woman.’

Trump’s self-appointed loyalty enforcer Laura Loomer then declared he should lose his press pass as the chief White House correspondent for pro-Trump outlet Real America’s Voice.

Glenn returned fire on Loomer by replying ‘Shut up b***h’ with a laughing emoji, an apparent reference to her telling Greene to do the same thing.

Loomer continued their budding feud with: ‘Oh no MTG’s boyfriend who cheated on his wife to be with an ape is calling me a b***h. How will I ever recover?’

Who the ‘ape’ Loomer was referring to was not specified, but the Daily Mail caught Greene and Glenn together in 2022 while they were still married.

Glenn left his then-wife Kerry just three days after Greene’s then-husband Perry filed for divorce in September 2022.

He insisted at the time they were not an item and the two divorce filings were not connected, but by early 2023 they were openly dating.
