British pop-punk sensation Yungblud has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 tour dates following a firm recommendation from his doctor to stay home. This announcement affects scheduled performances in November across cities including Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.

“I have been ordered by my doctor to take a break from touring until the end of the year,” Yungblud posted on social media Saturday. Also off the table are a handful of shows in Mexico City and elsewhere in Latin America.

The 28-year-old artist, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, revealed that a routine post-tour health check unearthed some concerning results from his voice and blood tests. This prompted him to heed medical advice more seriously than ever before.

In a heartfelt message to his fans, Yungblud admitted, “I’m known for pushing myself to the limit, ignoring everything except the music and my fans. But this time, I’ve been told I can’t take any chances.” Known for his relentless energy, the Doncaster-born musician is facing a rare pause in his career.

Yungblud has certainly been on a whirlwind journey. Last year, he launched the innovative music festival Bludfest and enjoyed the success of his bestselling book, “You Need to Exist: A Book to Love and Destroy!” The current year has been equally eventful with the release of a documentary titled “Yungblud: Are You Ready, Boy?” that captures his experiences on the Idols tour. Additionally, fans can look forward to his upcoming collaboration with Aerosmith, “One More Time,” set for release this Friday. Despite these achievements, he had ambitiously extended his Idols tour with 24 more North American dates for 2026.

Expressing his emotions, Yungblud shared, “My heart is broken. I don’t want to risk any lasting damage to myself. We’re on a journey I hope will continue for a long time. I understand this decision might frustrate some of you, but I promise to make it up to you.”

To ease the disappointment, all tickets will be refunded, and Yungblud has promised to send a gift to fans willing to share their addresses, showing his appreciation and commitment to his supporters even during this challenging time.

“I never take anyone’s love support or energy for granted,” he wrote. “You know you are everything to me. But I need this time.”
