Sinister patterns in Epstein's emails DECODED

The email exchanges of Jeffrey Epstein go beyond merely chronicling the movements of a man deeply entrenched in influential circles.

When examined collectively, these emails reveal the psyche of an individual who viewed people as assets, valued loyalty as a form of currency, and saw vulnerability as an opportunity.

On November 12, a collection of 20,000 of these unfiltered, private emails was made public by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Unlike depositions or victim testimonies, these messages, spanning from 2011 to 2019, were written in real time to Epstein’s close associates, including Ghislaine Maxwell, former US Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers, and journalist Michael Wolff.

The emails are fraught with spelling mistakes and missing punctuation, often coming across as disjointed and rambling—elements that contribute to an unsettling depiction of Epstein.

The Daily Mail provided over 50 excerpts from these newly disclosed communications to the AI system Grok, seeking an analysis of distinct patterns and insights into the billionaire’s state of mind.

Grok characterized the disgraced financier as a hurried, opportunistic networker with a casual disregard for boundaries, quick to attach himself to people and just as quick to sever ties after perceived betrayals.

Upon dissecting the documents, the artificial intelligence uncovered a remarkably consistent style of lowercase typing, apparently deliberate misspellings and obsessive repetition of certain themes and, of course, names.

But unlike depositions or victim statements, these messages, which span 2011 to 2019, were written in real time to Epstein's confidants. (Pictured: Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein)

The emails are riddled with spelling errors and missing punctuation marks, and are, at times, unwieldy and rambling

In one email to former New York Times financial reporter Landon Thomas Jr, Epstein wrote: ‘have them ask my houseman about donald almost walking through the door leaving his nose print on the glass as young women were swimming in the pool he was so focused he walked straight into the door.’

The ‘vivid, unpunctuated anecdote,’ the AI explained, ‘treats scandalous scenes like gossip’ and ‘reveals a storyteller who relishes discomfort in others.’

A message to Maxwell urged, ‘You have done nothing wrong and i woudl urge you to start acting like it. go outside, head high, not as an esacping convict. go to parties. deal with it.’

There, the typos, ‘woudl’ and ‘esacping,’ while offering motivational advice reflect Epstein’s casual dismissal of consequences, ‘urging denial as strength,’ the AI said.

Similarly, an email to Summers offering relationship advice reads: ‘shes smart. making you pay for past errors, ignore the daddy im going to go out with the motorcycle guy, . you reacted well. . annoyed shows caring. , no whining showed strentgh.’

Here Epstein is dissecting human emotion like a self-appointed therapist, presenting himself as a detached guru, the AI noted.

On Wednesday, Summers resigned from OpenAI’s board amid scrutiny over his ties to Epstein and Harvard launched an investigation into their relationship.

The AI also highlighted a 2018 email from Epstein to Summers in which Epstein appeared, according to Grok, to revel ‘in others’ vulnerabilities,’ writing: ‘She’s already begining to sound needy 🙂 nice.’

Roughly 80 percent of Epstein’s emails lacked capitalization or punctuation – a stark contrast from the ‘recipients’ polished replies’ – that apparently creates an illusion of approachability while still asserting dominance.

Donald Trump was mentioned in approximately 40 percent of the relevant emails, often as a point of comparison or cautionary tale reflecting Epstein’s obsession with not only him, but loyalty tests and grievances.

In a 2011 message to Maxwell, Epstein said: ‘i want you to realize that the dog that hasn’t barked is trump… the girl had spent hours at my house with him.’

The AI suggested Epstein was alluding to a Sherlock Holmes story, in which the fictional detective notes that the absence of expected behavior is itself a critical clue.

That is to say, a dog that does not bark during a crime suggests it knows the perpetrator, a revealing insight through silence rather than action.

This, the AI claimed, exposes a ‘mindset fixated on loyalty tests, implying victims as unwitting props in elite games’ and a ‘score-settling thinker who hoarded relational ‘dirt’ like currency.’

His repetitive phrasing builds a narrative of shared guilt, signaling his paranoia and obsession with holding allies accountable.

In 2019, Epstein wrote to journalist Michael Wolff of Trump: ‘of course he knew about the girls… Of course, he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.’

In a 2011 message to Maxwell, Epstein said: ‘i want you to realize that the dog that hasn’t barked is trump… the girl had spent hours at my house with him’

But as the years went on, the AI noted a pattern of ‘escalating vitriol’ after one 2017 email, in which Epstein called Trump a ‘maniac’ showing signs of ‘early dementia.’

‘I have met some very bad people. None as bad as Trump. Not one decent cell in his body,’ he wrote.

Here, according to the AI, Epstein ‘judges others as ‘worse’ to elevate himself.’

Two years later, Epstein would be charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors. He died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial.

Epstein also acted as a manipulative advisor, dispensing unsolicited guidance on relationships and social strategy, the AI observed.

In a May 2017 email to Jonathan Farkas, the husband of Somers Farkas, Trump’s ambassador to Malta, Epstein warned: ‘careful she is nottrustworthy at ALLL… worse… alcoholic . drugs. unstable . consumate liar. CAREFUL,’ in regard to a woman who was not Farkas’s wife.

The emphatic caps and list-like style highlight his tendency to sow doubt and turn personal questions into dependence.

In multiple emails, Epstein’s references to ‘girls’ are ‘offhand’ and ‘stripped of agency,’ the AI noted, describing it as ‘dehumanizing shorthand.’

In one email to New York Times’ reporter Thomas Jr, Epstein wrote ‘would you like to see photos of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?’

Here, the AI stated, the ‘matter-of-fact phrasing assumes shared elite knowledge’ and the ‘mindset of ‘boys’ club’ impunity, where ‘girls’ are abstract commodities.’

Indeed, the correspondence offers a window into the inner workings of one of the most infamous manipulators of the modern era, exposing, as AI puts it, a profound entitlement where ‘rules apply downward, never up.’
