An outdoor recreation instructor is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting three 11-year-old girls at a school camp.
The 18-year-old suspect is accused of inappropriately touching the students while inspecting their harnesses during several camp activities that took place on Thursday, October 23, and Friday, October 24.
Authorities apprehended the young man yesterday morning at 11:10 a.m. at a residence in Sydney’s southwest.
Following his arrest, he was taken to Camden Police Station, where he was charged with 13 counts of intentionally sexually touching a child between the ages of 10 and 16.
He made a court appearance today, where bail was formally denied.
The suspect is scheduled to appear again in Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday, December 12.
