Robert F. Kennedy Jr. playfully targeted former President Donald Trump by posting a doctored Thanksgiving photo featuring himself, Trump, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump Jr.
Earlier today, the 71-year-old health secretary took to social media platform X to extend Thanksgiving wishes to his one million followers.
In his post, Kennedy shared an image depicting himself along with Trump, Trump Jr., Musk, and House Speaker Mike Johnson, all seemingly enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving meal aboard Air Force One. The table was laden with holiday favorites such as turkey, Brussels sprouts, corn, and mashed potatoes.
However, eagle-eyed followers quickly pointed out that the image had been digitally altered. The original version, which first appeared in November 2024 on Donald Trump Jr.’s account, showed Kennedy looking less than thrilled while dining on McDonald’s with a drink of Coke.
In both images, the men were dressed identically and seated in the same positions. The primary difference lay in the meal: Kennedy was shown enjoying a bowl of stuffing, while Trump Jr. held a slice of pie instead of a large McDonald’s fry.
Despite the playful tweak to the photo, Kennedy, known for his health-conscious lifestyle, did not share any personal Thanksgiving plans this year, unlike previous occasions.
A year ago, the 71-year-old Kennedy was caught deep-frying his Turkey with no shoes on.
In a video, he explains the oil used was beef tallow, showing a box full of the white rendered fat to the camera.

As he precariously lowered the bird into the pot, he said at the time: ‘This is the dangerous part,’ while the beef tallow bubbled and cracked away.
RFK then asked his wife Cheryl Hines: ‘Honey are you going to eat some of this,’ as she pops her head into frame and adds: ‘No, I don’t eat turkey.’
The video then cuts to him 40 minutes later, as he pulled the bird from the hot oil without any shoes on, as he said: ‘That’s going to be delicious.’
It is not recommended to deep fry your turkey on Thanksgiving.
RFK Jr. has previously made comments about the president’s diet after being forced to eat McDonald’s, which he claims is ‘poison.’
‘The stuff he eats is really, like bad,’ Kennedy said on the Joe Polish Show, adding that most of the president food choices are filled with ‘poison.’
‘Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is, like, just poison,’ he said, adding that you only get a choice of Big Macs or KFC.
Kennedy has promised as a part of his Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, to also crack down on food with additives, pesticides and toxic chemicals – all of which are included in McDonald’s items, including what was on his plate.

McDonald’s Big Macs are known to have Xanthan gum and dextrose in them.
Dextrose is commonly used as a sweetener food additive. It is a simple sugar made from corn or wheat that acts in the body as glucose – or blood sugar.
It has been linked to liver abnormalities and can be especially dangerous in people who are at risk of or have diabetes because it can disrupt glucose levels and cause insulin resistance.
Insulin resistance causes the body’s cells to stop responding to the hormone insulin, which controls the amount of sugar in the blood. When sugar isn’t able to enter cells and builds up in the blood, it can lead to type 2 diabetes.
Dextrose is used in multiple foods at McDonald’s, including the breakfast item Sausage McGriddle.
Xanthan gum is a common food additive known to cause gas and bloating, and despite it being considered ‘completely safe’ for humans to ingest, it can lead to digestive issues.
