Reports: South Carolina Pastor John-Paul Miller Indicted on Federal Charges

In a troubling turn of events, John Paul Miller, a pastor from South Carolina, has been federally indicted following serious allegations linked to the tragic death of his wife, Mica Miller, who took her own life last year after initiating divorce proceedings. The charges against him include cyberstalking and providing false statements to federal authorities.

Miller, aged 46, faces these felony charges amidst accusations that he posted a nude photo of his late wife online and engaged in stalking behavior prior to her death, actions that have cast a shadow over his pastoral position.

John-Paul and Mica Miller’s story began in 2017 when they married, with Mica, at just 23, becoming the stepmother to Miller’s five children. Despite the significant age difference, the couple appeared to outsiders as a harmonious pair, moving forward together seemingly as a perfect match.

However, the marriage was not as idyllic as it appeared. Behind closed doors, tensions rose, leading Mica to file for divorce. Initially, she withdrew her petition four months later, only to refile shortly afterward, indicating persistent issues within the relationship.

Following her second divorce filing, Mica experienced a series of distressing events. Her car tires were slashed twice in a single week, and a mechanic discovered a tracking device installed in her vehicle. These incidents contributed to her growing fear that she was being stalked by Miller, leaving her feeling endangered.

The tragic culmination of these events came when, during a church service, Pastor John-Paul Miller somberly announced that he had received a call the previous night, informing him that his wife had died by suicide. This announcement left the congregation and community in shock, as the gravity of the situation began to unfold.

Mica’s family and friends demand justice for Mica and ask law enforcement to investigate. Protest follows outside Solid Rock Church demanding justice for Mica.
