Nicola Peltz has once again subtly criticized her in-laws, following the news that her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, did not attend the wedding of his close friend, Holly Ramsay.

Brooklyn’s no-show didn’t come as a huge surprise, considering the ongoing tension between him and his family. Nevertheless, the Ramsays reportedly maintain an ‘open door’ policy for the eldest Beckham, sparking expectations that he would be present.

The rift has left Brooklyn and Nicola estranged from his family for months, especially after Brooklyn missed his father’s milestone 50th birthday celebration.

Compounding the familial distance, Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz, 20, recently disclosed that Brooklyn had blocked all family members on social media after rumors surfaced that they had unfollowed him first.

Meanwhile, while his parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham, along with his siblings, gathered in the UK to celebrate Holly’s marriage to Adam Peaty, Brooklyn chose to post a Grinch-themed message from his Los Angeles residence.

Over the past year, the aspiring chef and his wife, 30, have notably missed numerous Beckham family events, including birthdays, parties, and vacations.

Nicola seemingly posted her own thoughts on the current situation hours later, sharing a quote from Brigitte Bardot shortly after her passing aged 91.

Hinting at her opinion, Nicola said: ‘If I could do anything about the way people behave towards each other, I would, but since I can’t I’ll stick to the animals.’

The latest post comes after she appeared to take another swipe at Brooklyn’s family by posting a stylish selfie with the caption ‘Love being home’ as she and her husband stayed in LA instead of attending Holly and Adam’s wedding.

Nicola showcased her trim figure in a skimpy black vest and sporting a chic pair of shades for the snap, with Brooklyn gushing in the comments: ‘Damn she sexy xx’.

Brooklyn, who spent Christmas with his billionaire in-laws, was said to be invited to the nuptials where Holly, 25, tied the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 31.

The Beckhams and the Ramsays have been close family friends since the early 2000s, with the two families striking a bond when they relocated to the U.S.

But rather than celebrating Holly’s wedding with the rest of the clan for Christmas, Brooklyn remained at home in the States.

David and Victoria were among the celebrity–studded congregation waiting for a glimpse of the bride and groom.

Their sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper, who are close friends of the Ramsays, were also there – but not Brooklyn.

It is not known if Brooklyn was invited to Holly’s wedding and declined or if he didn’t make the guest list. 

However, other insiders have suggested it would be unlikely for Holly to have snubbed Brooklyn, as the Ramsays are thought to take the ‘the door is always open’ approach when it comes to Brooklyn.

The Daily Mail revealed that his relationship with Gordon and Tana’s eldest son Jack – now in the Marines – had also fizzled out, despite the pair being best friends since they were toddlers. 

It is believed that they have not spoken for some time, and according to friends of both families, their bond began to unravel when Brooklyn began dating Nicola.

There was no sign of Jack at Brooklyn and Nicola’s service to renew their wedding vows in the summer.

And they allegedly feel it is a ‘huge shame’ he isn’t going as he and Holly were once very close – he and Jack even closer.

Getting some light exercise in sunny LA, Brooklyn appeared to be giving it his best shot on the court alongside Reilly.

A short clip of the match was shared to both Bradley and Brooklyn’s Instagram Stories.

It came after Brooklyn declared wife Nicola his ‘everything’ in a loved-up Instagram post on Christmas Eve, after blocking his family on the platform.

He shared a snap of him and the heiress holding hands while celebrating the festive season with her billionaire parents in Miami, Florida.   

He captioned the post: ‘My Everything’ in what appeared to be another defiant display, shortly after ‘hitting back’ at his estranged family with a thinly veiled barb.
