A 27-year-old resident of Las Vegas faces charges in the brutal slaying of his parents after he contacted emergency services, admitting to the killings and expressing a need to be “taken in for murder.”

According to court filings, Adrian Bailey made a 911 call at approximately 11:30 p.m., confessing he “couldn’t take it anymore” and had “killed them.” As reported by KLAS, Bailey informed the dispatcher of “blood everywhere” and insisted it was unintentional.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Roger Bailey deceased, while Kristine Bailey was suffering from “life-threatening injuries.” She was rushed to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Bailey placed a second call from a different location shortly afterward, urging police to “kill him on sight.” He described himself as a threat to others and, when questioned by the dispatcher about self-harm, he replied that he hadn’t harmed himself yet but had “done some others.”

In his conversation with dispatch, Bailey mentioned leaving home without his glasses and admitted to drinking alcohol, although he claimed not to have taken drugs. The police report noted his hysterical state and revealed he justified the attack on his father by saying he had “had enough abuse.”

Authorities apprehended Bailey around 11:45 p.m. at the second location. He was found with blood on his skin and clothes, and during the subsequent interview, he requested legal representation.

Meanwhile, back at the crime scene, officers found a child-sized baseball bat covered in blood at the top of the stairs. Blood spatter was found on the stairs and in the living room, where the victims were found.

Bailey has been charged with two counts of open murder and two counts of first degree murder with a deadly weapon and was ordered held without bail. He was due back in court on Wednesday, but local media did not follow up on the hearing. Court records show he was granted a public defender and is due back in court in February.
