As noted by my colleague streiff, there have been sightings of sanctioned oil tankers departing from Venezuela. These movements have fueled suspicions that, despite the arrest of Maduro, Rodriguez may be reverting to the previous corrupt practices.

The revelation from Trump sheds light on these suspicious activities, suggesting that the oil tankers might be part of the U.S.’s acquisition of 30 to 50 million barrels of Venezuelan oil.
