In Texas, a woman stands accused of fatally stabbing her uncle in the chest following a heated argument about a meal on the day after Christmas. Police report that the uncle had instructed her to start cooking and subsequently locked her out of their residence.

Ashley Siebenaller, aged 32, faces murder charges for the incident that occurred on December 26, as per jail records available online. An arrest affidavit, accessed by The Dallas Morning News, outlines the events where Siebenaller allegedly stabbed her uncle, Tony Graham, in the chest at their Fort Worth home, and initially claimed it was an accident.

According to the affidavit, other residents of the home heard the altercation between Siebenaller and Graham and later found Graham on the floor with a bloody knife on a nearby couch. Siebenaller was reportedly seated next to the weapon.

Graham instructed the witnesses to call 911, and when officers arrived at the Wade Avenue residence at 12:18 p.m. that Friday, they found Siebenaller acting as if she was unable to speak, according to the affidavit.

One officer attempted to communicate with her in writing, during which Siebenaller claimed she was unaware of what transpired and denied any involvement in stabbing Graham.

In a subsequent interview on December 30, authorities noted that Siebenaller communicated more effectively than at the scene. Although she initially denied involvement, she eventually confessed to the killing, admitting it followed a dispute over preparing a meal, as detailed in the affidavit.

According to police, Siebenaller said that she and Graham lived together in the living room of the residence, which was being leased by another person who rented out spaces throughout the home to several people.

Siebenaller claimed that Graham “p—ed her off” after he “told her she needed to start cooking,” the affidavit alleges. He also allegedly locked Siebenaller out of the house earlier in the day, according to police.

Siebenaller told detectives that Graham stabbed her in the mouth before she killed him, but she had no injuries or marks on her face to support this, the affidavit says.

Days later, Fort Worth police received a report on Jan. 2 from a roommate in the home who alleged that Siebenaller was standing outside their bedroom door while wielding a knife. She was taken into custody this week without incident and charged Monday.

Siebenaller is being held at the Tarrant County Jail with no bond set.
