Chris Watts, the infamous figure convicted for the tragic deaths of his wife and children, is said to have embraced Christianity after seeing a TV segment by CrimeOnline’s Nancy Grace on his case.

A report by the DailyMail shares insights from Dylan Tallman, a former inmate who was housed adjacent to Watts in 2020. Tallman recounts that Watts was deeply moved, dropping to his knees in a moment of repentance upon hearing Grace’s impassioned discussion on his actions.

“Nancy Grace was passionately addressing his deeds, practically shouting,” Tallman conveyed.

He further mentioned that Watts avoided discussing the heinous acts unless it was in the context of Biblical scripture. Their conversations, which often took place through the thin walls of their Wisconsin prison, would sometimes extend for hours on end.

Earlier Video Reporting

As detailed by CrimeOnline, Watts confessed in November 2018 to the murder of his wife Shanann at their home in Frederick, Colorado. At the time, Shanann was expecting their third child.

Previous Video Coverage

As CrimeOnline previously reported, in November 2018, Watts admitted to murdering his wife, Shanann, at their home in Frederick, Colorado. She was pregnant with their third child.

He also admitted to killing their two young daughters, Bella and Celeste.

In August 2018, Watts strangled Shanann at their home, he drove her body to a worksite, where he suffocated Bella and Celeste. He buried Shanann, pregnant at the time, in a shallow grave and dumped the girls’ bodies inside oil storage tanks.

Weld County District Court Judge Marcelo Kopcowe sentenced Watts to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Watts had been having an affair at the time.

Tallman said Watts continued to correspond with women while locked up, sometimes writing 15-page letters and making continuous calls.

“He will talk to a girl and she becomes his everything really fast,” Tallman told DailyMail.

“He becomes obsessed with a woman and she becomes all he can think of – and he’ll do whatever they ask him to do.”

Some women have reportedly put money on Watts’ books.

Watts is currently housed at the Dodge Correctional Center in Waupun, Wisconsin. He’s serving five life sentences.
