The local authorities have called for calm among residents in the aftermath of a recent incident.
US Senator Tina Smith, representing Minnesota and affiliated with the Democratic party, confirmed on X that the individual, identified as Good, was a US citizen. Additionally, Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar, whose jurisdiction covers Minneapolis, described her as a “legal observer.”
Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for Homeland Security, characterized Good as a “violent rioter.” She stated that the agent who fatally shot her did so in defense of his own life and those of his colleagues.

McLaughlin further noted on X, “The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who sustained injuries are anticipated to recover fully.”

Instead, the truck stops, and two officers exit and approach the vehicle on foot. As one of the agents orders the driver out of the SUV and grabs the door handle, the vehicle reverses briefly, and a third agent comes around to the front of the car from the passenger side.

The driver then goes forward, turning the wheels to the right, as if to head up the street away from the officers. The agent in front of the car pulls his weapon, steps back and fires, with the left front bumper coming close to his legs.
