ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is bracing for a cold snap this weekend, the likes of which haven’t been seen in 16 years.

On Thursday, authorities issued an Extreme Cold Watch across much of the region, marking the first such alert in approximately 15 years. By Sunday morning, some areas could experience wind chills plummeting to a frigid 7 degrees.

Here’s a detailed forecast broken down by county:

    Orange County

Sunday morning promises to be particularly chilly, with temperatures expected to dip into the mid-20s, hovering between 23 to 26 degrees.
